An Update on George!

Do you remember the stray dachshund that was brought in to Dogwood in February suffering from injuries from a suspected dog attack? Well we have great news, he has found his forever home.

Now named General George S. Patton he is now living with his new family in the mountains of Pennsylvania. If you are wondering about the name, he came to his new home named George and the rest was added to honor his struggle and his courage!

Thank you to Virginia Veterinary Surgical Associates for performing surgery and taking such great care of George and to Ring Dog Rescue for finding him temporary care and his forever home. If you would like to see his dramatic “before” pictures please click here.

Ultimate Air Dogs This Weekend!

This weekend there is only one place to be in Richmond, Dominion Riverrock, which takes place at Brown’s Island from the 17th – 19th. While there is a lot to do what we are most excited about is the Ultimate Air Dogs competition. See the schedule below to make sure you don’t miss any of the fun!
